40. How to Overcome the Habits of Self Sabotage, with Dr. Candice Seti

Founder of Me Only Better, Dr. Candice Seti - aka The Weight Loss Therapist - is a psychologist, author, and online coach. She specializes in working with individuals struggling with weight loss and weight management, as well as providing eating disorder and insomnia treatment.

Oftentimes, the pressure we feel from outside forces changes our way of thinking about ourselves, and we develop habits that get us stuck in those false beliefs. So how do we break free from these negative habits and learn to replace them with habits that help us to achieve our goals?

Dr. Candice explains what the fear of change is, avoidance conflict approach, and how staying in the comfort zone is our main enemy. Recognizing what sounds good on paper versus what actually fits for our lives is a first step forward.

Candice shares her experiences from her therapy practice, and assures us that therapy allows us to get guidance, direction, and a space to find our internal answers. It’s truly the best place where you can be truly yourself.

Adrienne and Candice also discuss self sabotage, weight loss, fear, and all of the aspects standing in our way of success. This sweeping conversation poses the questions - Is entrepreneurship for everyone? What choices do women entrepreneurs often make without knowing? And, are we ready to make long term life choices?
